Everything You Need to Know About the Controls
If you have already played other Geometry Dash games, the controls of Geometry Dash Deluxe are identical to what you are already used to. However, if you are a completely new player, worry not! Below is everything you need to know to master this game!
- In classic Geometry Dash-style levels, the character will move forward automatically, and the player’s role is to press a button to make it jump. Throughout the level, the character may change into different forms, which also act differently when the button is pressed. For example, pressing the button in Ball form will make the character alternate gravity, while in Ship form, holding the same button will make it fly upward.
- Geometry Dash Deluxe also introduces platform-style levels in which the player can control the character more freely. In these levels, the character can move to the left and right and jump—similar to classic platformers such as Super Mario Bros. However, to complete these levels, the player will need to make use of familiar elements found in the classic levels, such as jump rings and gravity-switching pads.

Geometry Dash Deluxe
Geometry Dash Deluxe features three classic levels with the difficulties of Hard and Harder and a platform level:
- Shapeshifter (Hard 2⭐): The first level begins with an upbeat soundtrack along with tricky obstacle placement and various speed changes throughout the path. The character will also change into many forms, including Robot, Wave, Ship, UFO, and Swing Copter forms.
- Supernova (Hard 3⭐): Supernova begins with a simple jumping sequence, but things gradually get more intense once the beat drops! The character will need to maneuver through a series of jumps with little to no room for error. The Spider form is first introduced in this level.
- Ichor (Harder 3⭐): Ichor realizes the full potential of the newly introduced camerawork, which overlaps with the beats of the song perfectly, giving the ultimate satisfaction to players. This is, however, also the hardest level by far, so the player should get ready for a tough challenge!
- Platformer Adventure (Easy 1⭐): As the only platform level in Deluxe, Platformer Adventure makes full use of existing mechanics. As the character is incapable of jumping, it needs to move around and ascend to a higher platform using jump rings and pads.
Geometry Dash Deluxe Land
There are two main components of Geometry Dash Deluxe Land: four main levels and two islands with distinctive themes. Below are the four main levels introduced in the game:
- Outbreak (Harder 2⭐): Outbreak starts out strong, with a fast pace of gameplay since its beginning. The character will alternate between various forms, pushing the player’s skills even further. The highlight of the level is the vertical section in which the character will move upward!
- Crystal Clouds (Harder 3⭐): In comparison to other levels, Crystal Clouds takes a different stylistic approach with its pixel-like background similar to that of the older games. The whole level resembles an adventure deep into an ancient temple up in the sky.
- Realms (Insane 3⭐): Realms tells the tale of an epic hero who travels through the world in different forms. It is also easily the most satisfying and challenging level in the whole game.
- Phoenix (Normal 1⭐): Phoenix is the last and only platform level in the main game. Though, unlike Platformer Adventure, the character can jump in Phoenix.
In addition, this part takes inspiration from Geometry Dash World and creates two islands: Frozen Route and Deadly Islands, each of which has five platform levels. The order of these levels reflects their increasing difficulty.
